Let me tell you a little bit about me and about why I want to be your personal trainer. I was born in 1953 (you can do the math!) and did not grow up in an active, athletic family. My father was a CPA and my mother was an English professor and so for fun we read – anything really: books, newspapers, magazines, whatever. Let’s just say I wasn’t exactly on the track team. As the humorist Robert Benchley said, “whenever I feel the urge to exercise I lie down until it goes away.”
After a graduate degree in health administration, a long career in the pharmaceutical industry, and a brief, but fun, run as a wine salesperson I set out to get in shape. As a woman of a certain age, I realized that whatever time I had left and whatever life threw my way I would handle more graciously and with a more positive attitude if I were strong and healthy. I want to move confidently through life whether handling big, heavy pots in the kitchen, climbing stairs, exploring a city by foot, or getting in and out of sports cars. And I believe that other older women, say age 55-75, want that confidence and that strength in their lives.
I’d love to help you achieve your personal goals.
